Joyaba Bag



The Joyaba is an expansive and brightly colored bag from the traditional Guatemalan community of Joyaba. The front is made from the village’s traditional distinctively multi-colored huipile (blouse), with a beautifully embroidered neckline. Lined with an inside zippered pocket, this bag has been modernized with two built in pockets for a cell phone, ipod or money on the inside and outside of the strap. Expertly woven and sewn, this sturdy bag can be used for everything from going to market, the beach, or even for a dressy evening out.
